Winnipeg City Council signals intent to take Montreal Pledge for Biodiversity!

Great news! On April 27, Winnipeg City Council voted to have staff prepare a report on signing the Montreal Pledge: Cities United in Action for Biodiversity.
If Winnipeg signs the Montreal Pledge it will Toronto, Vancouver and dozens of other cities around the world in committing to protecting biodiversity through 15 tangible actions to preserve ecosystems.

Stay tuned for upcoming public engagement opportunities before council takes the final vote on signing the pledge.
