Call to Action: “Worried About Climate Change” Campaign
Are you worried about climate change? You’re not alone! 77% of Manitobans are just as worried as you are.
We need to tell the Manitoba government to act on climate NOW!
Trees Please Winnipeg Coalition, Consider Climate, Manitoba and Seniors 4 Climate Manitoba are asking you to join with us in demanding that our provincial government take decisive action on climate through the ‘Worried about Climate Change’ Campaign.
We know from discussions with key politicians that many voices with the same message are needed to spur action!
To make your voice heard just phone or email Mike Moyes, Manitoba’s Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, Premier Wab Kinew and your own MLA and tell them how worried you are for yourself, your kids and grandkids.
Then ask them, what’s the plan to reach Net Zero by 2050? What are you doing right now to:
- Electrify transportation?
- Help homeowners and farmers switch to clean energy?
- Improve the climate resiliency of Manitoba cities and towns?
- Protect the natural world that protects us?
Here are the email addresses and phone numbers you need. It just takes five minutes, so please, do it today.
