ELECTION ACTION

Do you care about saving and growing our tree canopy in Winnipeg? You can make a difference!!
Four easy things to do to help convince our candidates for our upcoming Municipal Election October 28^th that Winnipeggers care about trees!

1. Get the facts and talk to your neighbours

Arm yourself with the facts: learn about Winnipeg’s tree loss and be ready to chat with friends and neighbours about the real benefits of urban trees and why we must all invest today.

2. Follow TreesPlease on Social Media and share with your neighbourhood groups

Follow Trees Please on Face Book and Instagram, and post our regular updates to your neighbourhood association – Follow treespleasewinnipeg on Facebook and Instagram

3. Distribute Save the Shade 7×7 signs in your neighbourhood

Order and distribute our 7×7 inch “Save the Shade” cards to neighbours at your neighbourhood gatherings this summer for display to candidates in their flower pots, mail boxes or lawn when candidates come knocking!

Distribute our mini lawn signs for in your neighbourhood – Order here!

4. Meet with your local Municipal candidate and help them Sign the Trees Please Pledge between June 30 and the Election October 28^th.

5. Wear your Save the Shade t-shirt.

Wear your t-shirt at your next community event to get people talking about the campaign. T-shirts are printed right here in Winnipeg!
